From his first public performance crooning in French at the age of six, to recording his first demo tracks on a series of old tape recorder decks — Kentö has always found innovative ways to merge sounds from early influences like Duran Duran, Kate Bush, & Tears for Fears with that of his multi-cultural upbringing. Kentö’s past releases have garnered attention from popular media outlets such as American Songwriter, MTV, Them, Paper Magazine, BBC Music, KCRW, LA Weekly, and The Knockturnal. “Saint-Tropez,” is the latest single from this NYC/Tokyo-based artist's first full-length album, Strangers.
